- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪They've killed my mother. And lied to us about the results of CT. Horrible heartless people. They've ended my world. Mum got admitted after 8 hours waiting. End up treating her for something they had no proof of. Left with exactly the same symptoms. Extreme epigastric pain, inability to eat and almost no swallowing ability. Stayed in a week and no upper GI investigations done. NONE. So she could have a severe stomach ulcer or esophageal stricture or cancer, but they do not care. This is an unsafe hospital, with staff who do NOT care, with ineffective diagnostic/treatment pathways. It is an echo chamber for ego centric doctors, who just like to hear their own voice, and like to take advantage of vulnerable patients. I have never been to a hospital where I have seen so many crying relatives on each visit. So many people not treated for their pain, so many bleeping machines with no attending. Gastro department is an embarrassment to the profession they represent, and should all be ashamed.by neil thompsonSeptember 25, 2017
