  I had developed terrible knee pain in October and decided i had had enough, i was recommended the performance lab by a friend. I called and made an appointment straight away with Phil. Phil was very warm, welcoming and it was apparent that he excellent knowledge (as soon as i had explained my symptoms he had an idea of what the problem could be). He performed a few simple tests and had a good feel around my knee. He diagnosed that i had developed patellofemoral pain syndrome, this was due to having weak glutes. He gave me a few basic exercises to begin with and as the weeks progressed he changed/increased them and i saw a very quick decrease in pain. He recommended the use of Kinesiology Tape, he showed me how to apply it and explained the benefits of using it, the tape made a huge difference in reducing the amount of pain in my knee. Within a few months of treatment the pain had totally disappeared and my glutes are stronger them ever. I have since recommended Phil and Matt to many friends. Thanks for all your help Phil.
